POSITION SUMMARY: This position is under the direct supervision of the Area Director of Operation or Executive General Manager and provides restaurant leadership in accordance with established company standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
Manages Restaurant EnvironmentEnsures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelinesBuilds a culture using the Vision / Mission statement to guide People, Profits, and Guest ExperienceEnsures the immediate response and correction of all verbal, email, and social media guest complaintsEnsures a high-quality guest experience by employing tools such as table touching and proactivity in resolving potential guest issuesTeaches and enforces alcohol awareness and builds a positive relationship with local authorities by seeking their assistance in alcohol related issuesMaintains adequate inventory levelsEnsures product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meeting company standardsEffectively oversees/schedules associates to meet sales demandsMaintains effective safety and security programs according to company policy and government standardsPromotes and manages restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitationManages community marketing, bringing the neighborhood back to the “Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar”Actively participates in the community to increase sales and enhance the awareness of PFDGImplements and executes all incentive contests and educates associates on promotions and new menu offeringsManages Assistant Manager, Associate Manager(s), Team Lead(s) and Team Member performanceMaintains Team Member and administrative functions as related to a manager roleEffectively manages Front of the House and Back of House operationsResponsible for all opening and closing procedures of the restaurantManages standards and commitment to qualityResponsible for the managing of all daily and weekly reportsFosters teamwork by building effective teams committed to restaurant and organizational goalsOperates with a high degree of Professionalism, Ethics and Integrity, maintaining a role-model imageDevelopment of Assistant General Manager, Associate Manager(s), Team Lead(s), and Team Members for growth within the companyPerforms other related duties as required and assignedEQUIPMENT/ COMPUTER SKILLS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent education and/or experience;Three to five (3-5) years of guest service experience;Three to five year of prior management experience, preferably in a casual dining settingDemonstrated ability to grow sales and manage a Profit & Loss StatementPositive attitude and the ability to handle highly difficult guest interactions;21+ years oldServSafe Alcohol and Food Certification a plusReading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills in English is requiredBi-lingual experience a plusReliable transportation and Government Issued Driver’s license requiredAbility to work 50-55 hour work weeks and flexible schedule consisting of mornings, mid-day shifts, evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to pass company background checkPassion for the industryKEY COMPENTENCIES:
