Arts and Sciences | Physics AdministrationPost Doctoral Scholar will carry out a vigorous program of independent research, write papers for refereed publication, travel to conferences and other venues to present the results, and interact with other researchers to develop new directions that will aid the OSU Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics (CCAPP, ).
CCAPP Fellow appointments will be for three-year terms. In addition to competitive salaries (approximately $65,000 annual), these positions come with $10k/year research budgets and $3k relocation funds. Applicants will also be considered for other post doctoral positions.
Applications will be reviewed until all positions are filled but applying before December 1, 2024 is strongly preferred.
Applications should include a cover letter (optional), curriculum vitae, list of publications (can be included in the CV), and a brief description of past and proposed research. It is strongly preferred that these be provided as one document and in that order. Minimum Education Required
Doctorate (Academic) with a Major in physics or astronomy by the time of appointment.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have demonstrated records of accomplishments in cosmology, astroparticle physics, astrophysics, or closely related fields.
