VACO Atlanta has partnered with a reputable & growing client to hire a Corporate Credit Manager to provide AR support. This role will build and optimize a centralized credit department, create streamlined AR practices, and implement consistent processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit and collections management, process improvement, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish company-wide AR/AP and Cash Management organizations, implementing consistent processes.
  • Build and optimize a centralized corporate credit department, overseeing a unified AR team.
  • Oversee the maintenance of corporate credit policy and internal controls related to credit and collections.
  • Measure departmental performance through key metrics such as cash collections and AR aging.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to adjust credit policy in line with business growth strategies.
  • Manage, train, and develop the Credit team, focusing on process improvement and performance management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with collection and credit reporting agencies.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of customer credit files and credit limits.

Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in a Credit Department, with a strong preference for supervisory and centralization experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider non-degreed candidates with significant experience.
  • Proven experience working with Sales teams and driving process improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • ERP system experience and a quick learner for financial systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
