Role Overview: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will leverage advanced Lean manufacturing techniques and Visual Business Systems (VBS) to enhance production operations. This position is essential for the successful delivery and continuous improvement of our operations, making a direct impact on our efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lean Manufacturing Leadership: Spearhead projects to enhance operations using techniques like 5S, SMED, and Standard Work.
  • Innovative Product Introduction: Oversee new product launches focusing on manufacturability, efficient layouts, and setup of production cells.
  • Operational Collaboration: Collaborate with teams to meet operational goals and enhance Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify and implement strategies to reduce costs through detailed analysis and innovative practices.
  • Advanced Equipment Programming: Optimize programming for CNC machines, robotic welders, and other key manufacturing equipment.

First Six Months Deliverables:

  • Integrate fully with our team and culture.
  • Lead a Kaizen event and contribute actively to Problem-Solving Processes (PSP).


Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees favored.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a manufacturing setting, with a preference for sheet metal design/manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD tools like SolidWorks, CNC programming, and robotic welding.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Personal Traits: A strategic thinker with urgency, capable of handling multiple priorities with a strong focus on results.
