Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Interprets delivery note and related pick list documentation to identify materials to be picked for shipment. Employs strict attention to detail while picking materials to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Selects and prepares packaging to accommodate each order with minimal waste while ensuring the preservation of contents during shipment. Operates the tools and equipment common to a warehousing/fulfillment center including, pallet jacks, floats/hand trucks, strapping/banding tensioners, box cutters, etc. Employs SAP to scan, pack and ship orders with an awareness to time sensitive delivery requirements. Receives instruction on the proper identification, packaging and labelling of dangerous goods in accordance with IATA regulations. Assists in the performance of physical inventory, cycle counts and receiving inspections as directed. Performs material receipt and stocking of newly received materials as directed.Job Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of warehouse/order fulfillment center experience is preferred. Familiarity in the basic operation of a computer is required to complete work assignments. Experience in the use of SAP warehouse management module or similar enterprise resource planning system is a plus. Must be able to work from a standing position for up to eight hours per day. Position requires the ability to lift objects of up to 40 lbs in weight independently. The qualified candidate will be punctual, reliable, and eager to learn new skills. Lithium Battery shipping experienceApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
