Job Summary
At ABT, the human resources (HR) team is focused on what people need and how to provide it. For a people person who want to begin a career in the exciting world of HR, this is the best place to dive in. We’re searching for a qualified and resourceful human resources generalist to support our department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The human resources generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities and will help with important functions such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits. At ABT, we understand that our business thrives when our employees thrive, and it begins with hiring the right human resources generalist.
As the primary liaison between the COO and the team, you will be responsible for relaying crucial information efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Onboard new employees.
  • Create training materials and opportunities for understanding HR policies.
  • Educate employees on HR-related topics, including leaves and compensation.
  • Assist in performance management tasks.
  • Collect human resources data and provide summaries and reports to management.
  • Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly employee validations, and benefits changes
  • Updating employee handbook.
  • Daily checking of the COO's calendar, ensuring meetings don't overlap. 
  • Updating information for licenses, certificates, etc. 
Qualifications: 
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be computer proficient. 
  • Must be knowledgeable in Google, (G-Suite, Google Calendar)
