ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately prepare quotes/orders/order confirmations in a timely manner by calculating or computing billing amounts
  • Accurately perform data collection and cost analysis throughout the department
  • Routinely communicate directly with customers using exceptional written and oral skills regarding (product information, order status, shipping/delivery updates)
  • Accurately issue credit memorandums in a timely manner by identifying returns or incorrectly billed materials or services
  • Performs general office duties as needed including but not limited to, answering phones, filing, special projects, assisting in physical inventory counts, and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent - Required
  • 1 or more years of related experience in a customer service setting - Preferred
  • Ability to learn new software programs in a timely manner - Preferred
  • Minimum of one-year experience working with an ERP System - Preferred
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages
