Job Description
Prominent national law firm is in search of a highly qualified Legal Assistant to join their Intellectual Property Group in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5+ years of patents experience and exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a team of 3-5 attorneys by preparing and filing various legal documents, coordinating complex document preparation, and assisting with drafting and proofreading. Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining calendars, coordinating travel, processing reimbursements, and handling client billing. Execute electronic filing of patent and trademark applications Maintain client reports using CPI software.Experience Requirements:
3+ years of IP experience, ideally 5-7+ years, with expertise in Patents. Proficiency in coordinating preparation of complex IP documents Filing with the USPTOFirm offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and hybrid work schedules of 3 days in the office after initial training period.
Compensation range: $85k - $105k annually depending on experience + eligible for annual discretionary bonus.
