Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to travel, work overtime, nights, and weekends if needed.

Pay Range: Starting at $18.00 an hour

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Railcar Repair Works safely around heavy equipment, railcars and railroad tracks Coordinates and competes all railcar repairs and maintenance  Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs Utilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge Valve Repair Interprets work orders to perform valve removal and repair Tags products for identification and reapplication Overall Responsibilities: Notifies of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasks Follows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies Ensures FRA, AAR and/or ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met Completes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task Job Qualifications: Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available  May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S. Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
