YOUR DAY-DAY WILL INCLUDE:

Supports the Survey department with the production of maps and drawings. Ensures quality of work by verifying its accuracy, thoroughness, and clarity prior to submission. Meets project deadlines, ensures budgets are aligned, remains responsive to clients, and ensures proper communication with the project team. Responsible for downloading and uploading field data, and the technical production of maps and drawings using various software platforms. Manages CAD drawing files for production, deliverables, and archiving. Prepares drawings for various members of the project team. Coordinates with others outside of the project team as necessary for project development. Performs other miscellaneous technical and non-technical duties as assigned. On occasion, fieldwork may be required. Those duties would include observation of sitework.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Associate degree in CAD or equivalent is required. Requires 5 years’ experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018, processing survey computation, C&G, Trimble, data processing, GPS, boundary, surveys, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, topographic surveys, utility route surveys, and construction staking. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. The ability to balance multiple work assignments on multiple projects at the same time is required. The ability to work alone but also effectively as part of a team is required. Requires process-oriented thinking with strong organizational and technical skills. Requires excellent communication, and the ability to take and understand directives. The ability to complete work consistently, with moderate flexibility to accommodate varying project demands is required. Candidates are required to have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record as determined by McKim & Creed. Candidates are required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
