A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PIZZA COOK:

As a Pizza Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and baking delicious pizzas. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing ingredients and stretching dough
• Baking pizzas in our Italian wood-fired ovens
• Following standard recipes and accommodating special diet orders
• Memorizing menu items and understanding abbreviations
• Collaborating with the take-out and main dining teams to ensure timely orders
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
• Finding satisfaction in creating mouthwatering pizzas for our valued customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive food knowledge
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
• Professional experience cooking from scratch using locally sourced, high-quality ingredients
• Previous experience in a fine-dining restaurant is preferred
• While we provide training for this position, 2+ years of experience as a pizza cook or restaurant cook is preferred
• Attention to detail, passion for culinary arts, and ability to work well in a team are essential qualities we seek

WORK SCHEDULE:

This full-time food service position typically follows a 5-day work week, including evenings. Weekend availability is required.
