Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in neurodevelopmental trauma assessments in partnership with the clinical team Participate in pre and post assessment discussions regarding the child’s histories, assignment of assessments, gathering of materials for individual cases, and review of the day Conduct psychosocial interviews, attachment assessments and administer clinical assessment tools, which includes scoring of various assessment tools, and report reviews Timely completion of trauma assessment reports including reviewing, editing, and providing feedback Complete interviews with biological parents, foster parents, and child welfare processions, as needed Participate in scheduled supervision, staff meetings, and professional development Assist with other special projects and duties, as assigned

Job Qualifications
Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, Temporary Limited License Psychologist, Limited Licensed Master Social Work, Licensed Professional Counselor, Limited Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Master Social Work Full licensure preferredExperience
Minimum of one-year experience working with youth and families Experience working within the Child Welfare setting Experience working with youth and families from diverse backgrounds Experience in clinical outpatient, home based, community mental health or behavioral health setting preferred Experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments preferredAdditional Work Requirements
Unrestricted valid driver’s license with good driving record required. Reliable personal transportation required; proof of current automobile insurance required Ability to travel to other Samaritas sites with Trauma Assessment Team to conduct assessments#socialwork #childwelfare #behavioralhealth
