- Participates in the preparation of capital costestimates: calculate capacities weights and develop quantitytakeoff.
- Senior Mechanical Engineer developsconceptual through final designs and prepares calculations toverify workability of mechanical details; uses CAD and 3D modeling(Revit or similar) software to produce accurate constructiondrawings.
- Senior Mechanical Engineer preparesproject flow sheet and conducts feasibility studies and createsreports.
- Coordinates with vendors.
- Senior Mechanical Engineer coordinates withmultidisciplinary team members.
- Attention todetail and accuracy essential. Good communication skills withability to coordinate work with other disciplines strongorganization skills to effectively manage time and resourcesefficiently. Travel required. Experience in mining or mineralsprocessing preferred.
