About the Role

Nexteer is looking for a business minded individual to join our corporate account team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting or finance as well as strong technical competencies and the ability to communicate effectively with various levels within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and policies prepare monthly journal entries with support prepare accounting memos to document unusual or complex transactions/issues prepare variance analysis and monthly reporting package Collaborate with Corporate Financial Planning Analyst related to preparing the forecast, long range financial plan, and annual budget for input into Hyperion Planning. Liaison with treasury to record cash activities on a monthly basis Consolidate, analyze and provide monthly reporting of global SG&A, which includes: Providing Corporate cost center owners accurate and timely SG&A information monthly Communicate and execute strategic initiatives Maintain internal controls requirements Document internal control process narratives, control catalogs, and flowcharts where applicable Standardize/process work flow as possible to ensure overall structure is optimized and areas of risk are mitigated.

Qualifications

CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum 2 years of accounting/finance experience Thorough knowledge of accounting principles Strong technical competence including IFRS/US GAAP/Cost Accounting concepts Experience with general ledger system (QAD), HFM and Hyperion products preferred Highly proficient in computer and technology driven skills Robust verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly to changing control environment Knowledge and understanding of corporate/unit policies and procedures preferred

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
