As Staff Educator, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third-party payers, through education and coaching. Maintains current knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, Certified Home Care, and all 3rd party payor regulations, and promotes compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Assists in maintaining a yearly in-service calendar for all staff. Demonstrates accountability of actions and work completed. Administers, coordinates, and evaluates operational systems, and educational offerings to enhance operations and internal delivery of quality patient care. Participates in meetings, conferences, and initiates improvement of education and continuity of care. Provides support and assistance to all employees as needed to enhance their efforts to meet the agency mission and maintain efficiency. Acts as a resource person for clinical staff. Other duties as assigned to support the changing needs of the business.

What is Required?

Bachelor’s Degree or graduate of an accredited program of Nursing. 3+ years experience in Skilled Home Health.  Prior experience as a Nurse Preceptor and/or mentor is preferred. Current Registered Nurse license. Able and willing to travel up to 25% Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with OASIS Demonstrates knowledge of skilled hom health Federal and State regulations

You will report to the Director of Education.
