Position at Hope for Tomorrow Full Time Residential Aide – Point Pleasant, WV  At My Hope for Tomorrow, our experienced professionals put your treatment needs first. We are proud to provide high-quality addiction treatment by focusing on counseling services, supported by medical treatment. Our entire staff is committed to ensuring that every patient in our program is successful in recovery. Responsibilities:   Assists with Activities of Daily Living by serving meals and feeding patients as needed/directed; offering fresh water and snacks. Follows nurse (RN) instructions to perform procedures Follows Physician Instructions to perform procedures Complies with HIPAA Privacy Act by protecting confidential patient information. Follows all policies and procedures to maintain a safe inpatient/outpatient setting. Participates in all training and continuing education. Maintains licensure to meet federal, state, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant or higher Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to actively look for ways to help people. 2 years’ experience in addiction is preferred, otherwise additional training may be required prior to start date. Concern for others — Job requires being sensitive to others' needs and feelings and being understanding and helpful on the job. Integrity — Job requires being honest and ethical. Self-Control — Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations. Social Orientation — Job requires preferring to work with others rather than alone and being personally connected with others on the job. Cooperation — Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude. Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.  Salary Range:  Generally starting at $13.00 an hour.

The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty, and training.
