The Manufacturing Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's goal of consistently producing high-quality products. You will address production challenges, optimize manufacturing methods, and drive cost improvement programs to ensure operational efficiency and excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work towards short-term and long-term business goals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Manage and support multiple projects simultaneously across various departments.
- Provide technical leadership on assigned projects and tasks.
- Demonstrate leadership within cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Analyze and evaluate manufacturing processes, equipment, and programs to enhance efficiencies, uptime, and safety.
- Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments effectively.
- Communicate customer expectations and company objectives clearly to all stakeholders.
- Foster trusting business relationships and promote teamwork within and between departments.
- Assist in driving departmental metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead Continuous Improvement activities using Lean Manufacturing tools and processes.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities proactively.
- Actively participate in Continuous Improvement objectives and Lean initiatives, both as a leader and contributor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or equivalent.
- Experience with tooling and/or mold designs.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
