I.  DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 Project Lead 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Project Lead 2, Project Management and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

Seeking an experienced IT Project Lead with a background supporting data center operations projects and on-prem data center migrations to AWS cloud services. The Project Lead will play a pivotal role in leading and executing complex technical projects, ensuring their successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile principles, exceptional project management skills, leadership capabilities, and effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. This position reports to the Director of HHSC IT DCS&O TIERS Operation.

II.  CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Develop and maintain a well-defined product backlog and ensure Timely delivery of prioritized features.5RequiredSolid working with IT procurements, budget, forecasts and analysis for the different projects.5RequiredExperience working closely with internal and external vendors and/or service providers to ensure our operations requirements are appropriately provisioned.5RequiredSolid experience migrating an on-premise data center to Cloud Services (AWS preferred).5RequiredExpert level planning, documenting and identifying project goals and tasks to ensure on-time delivery.5RequiredEffective leadership, organization and time management skills.5RequiredExpert at communicating with stakeholders to eliminate blockers and potential risks.5RequiredChampion Agile principles and practices throughout the project lifecycle. Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Guide the team in adopting and adhering to Agile methodologies.3PreferredExperience working on government fiscal and budget management supporting data centers.3PreferredExperience with senior level leadership reporting and communication.
