Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Location(s); Portland, OR

Job Description:

Strategic Finance is focused on aligning financial strategies with overall business objectives across onshore as well as offshore. We offer Business Case support to COO on make or buy scenarios, monitor capital allocation models, own Domestic/Local Content Finance, and identify opportunities to optimize financial performance throughout interaction with COO, Sales, and Strategy & Market Intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Become trusted Finance Business Partner within both onshore and offshore Finance

• Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making

• Uphold high standards of data governance, ensure accuracy and emphasizing the importance of data integrity and confidentiality of financial information

• Play a crucial role in maintaining financial data related to Vestas' North American (AME) regional projects, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of information

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes aligned with Treasury's guidance on the Inflation Redundancy Act (IRA) and the Advanced Manufacture Production Credit (AMPC)

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting, as well as support on Business Case validation in Procurement and Global Supply Chain (COO)

• Effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels, translating complex financial concepts into understandable and actionable information

• Have an important role in building trust and transparency through clear and concise financial reporting and explain variances deviations from forecasting

• Identify opportunities for process improvement within data management

• Serve as a trusted financial advisor, collaborating with business leaders to provide insights into financial implications and risks associated with advisory

• Participate in strategic planning sessions, offering financial perspectives to support long-term business goals

• Maintain good partnerships with cross-functional teams, acting as a liaison between finance and other departments as well as between the region and our Group Finance in Denmark

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field

• 5+ years of experience within Finance Business Partnering

• Experience within Data Management or equivalent field preferred

• Proven experience in financial analysis and navigating in a matrix organization

Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in Excel, SAP, BI/PowerBI, and financial modeling

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy

• Effective communication and collaboration skills
