Billing Administrator

Rapidly growing medical billing company seeking a qualified individual to: maintain attendance, punctuality, and salary information for employees in your department. Identify and develop employee talent.
Evaluate employee performance. Interact with hospital staff when necessary to gather or clarify information pertaining to that client. Oversee daily operation of the department with regards to workflow, productivity, etc. Monitor client performance and respond as necessary. Prepare reports as required.
In this position, the employee will work 2 days consecutive remote from home and 3 days consecutive in-office at our Wyomissing building.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Arrange work, assign tasks and define responsibilities
- Issue orders and instructions and explain management plans
- Establish methods and procedures and enforce rules and regulations
- Maintain team-work and discipline
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain attendance, punctuality, and salary information for employees in your department.
- Identify and develop employee talent.
- Evaluate employee performance.

- Oversee daily operation of the department with regards to workflow, productivity, etc.

- Prepare reports as required.
- Recognize and respect the confidential nature of the information processed.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High School diplomas or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of related billing experience OR 1 year in Team Lead or similar role
- Experience leading medical billing activities strongly preferred.
- Advanced understanding of CPT/ICD-10 codes
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
