Overview

JOB OVERVIEW Maintaining a high level of performance to ensure a positive guest experience is the essential responsibility of the Activities Attendant. As an Activities Attendant you are a member of the Resorts’ Fun Squad, who leads and organizes Family and Kid resort activities in a fun, engaging and positive manner throughout the resort. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the promotion of a safe and professional workplace through adhering to policies and procedures Lead family & kid activities throughout the resort including setting up and breakdown of lawn games; participation in Kayak events; leading hikes; leading games; arts & crafts; BINGO; other resort activities Responsible for gathering supplies, effective execution, clean-up and break down of all activities. Provide memorable guest interactions with consistent upbeat, fun and energetic personality at all times. When not on break, act as though you are on stage at all times. Ensures storage areas are kept organized. Inform supervisor when consumables and supplies are running low and need to be re-ordered. Ensures activities start on-time. Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs. mplementing activities that are scheduled on the monthly activity calendar; Coordinate appropriate entertainment; Engage and motivate guests to partake in daily social, physical and cognitive activities as planned; Maintain records of all activities and resident participation levels of each activity; Create activities specific to guest volume Appropriate arts, crafts and supplies for scheduled activities. Decorate rooms and other facility areas for holidays, birthday parties and theme parties; Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned. Qualifications Must have positive customer service skills. Excellent multi-tasking skills. Must be proactive in preparation and ensure events start on time. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction. Must be flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands, weather, Successful completion of background check.
