MAIN FUNCTIONS:

Oversees the adequate manufacturing capabilities of Fabrication Processes, CNC machines, Ovens and other equipment.Can perform activities, such as: Planning and Scheduling Activities and Resources; Analysis (Methods and Measurements, Machines, Maintenance and Materials); Design (Product, Process, Equipment, etc.); and Project Management.Possesses and Applies Knowledge on a wide variety of Techniques, Practices and Procedures within an Engineering specialty, which allow the Solution of Complex Projects and Problems that require Analytical Capability and Initiative with a minimum level of Supervision.Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Engineering Function.Evaluate Process Performance as it relates to the Flow of Materials, Cycle Time, Takt Time and any other process metrics.Evaluates Process Changes in methods, machines, equipment and layout to develop the best solution to increase yield and improve quality levels.Supports continuous improvement projects within the company and remotely with other HFN sites.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Bioengineering or related)Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt. (Black Belt desired)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

3 to 5 years within Engineering (Manufacturing Systems, New Product Introduction, Process Reengineering, Maintenance, etc.).1 to 3 years of CNC machinery desired

LEVEL OF ENGLISH FLUENCY:

 Advanced 

COMPUTER USAGE:

3.- Intermediate (Use of Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.) and Application Programs as MS Project, AutoCAD, VISIO, etc.

SKILLS:

Requires Ability to work effectively with remote teams.Proven experience with engineering concepts.Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.Possesses strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.Ability to work with equipment and maintain accurate documentation records.
