Responsibilities

Leadership –  Demonstrate technical and personnel leadership, providing resolution to technical issues, and support growth and development of staff. Contribute to Business Goals by meeting budgeted billable time. Client Service –  Maintain external client relationships and develop client relationships to be engineer of choice. Technical Experience – Possess Civil site development and engineering consulting experience preferably within land development, power generation or large industrial facility markets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with at least 5 years of Civil Engineering experience 3+ years of experience as a project engineer Significant technical expertise in either Civil Engineering (industrial and commercial site development, site grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, site permitting, parking, lighting) and/or Environmental Engineering (potable water treatment, landfill capping/lining, SWPPP, SPCC, water quality) Strong storm water management, erosion control, and site-civil permitting skills are required Required as needed to travel (anticipated as a 10%-15% average time) to client sites for project and/or site meetings Excellent verbal communication skills; Comfortable and effective communicator with team, clients, peers, and management, choosing the right mode of communication for the situation and relaying the right message Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail Strong coordination and team building skills; demonstrated ability to work across disciplines, divisions, and teams Problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills

Preferred Qualifications / Skills 

EIT required, Professional Engineer licensure a plus. If licensed, may be asked to become registered in additional states through reciprocity Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Storm & Sanitary; proficiency in other runoff calculation software a plus
