Drone Technician

Description
Drone Repair Technicians will perform Testing, Evaluations & Repairs on sUAS/multirotor systems. They will be expected to have prior experience in repairing multirotor & robotics systems and/or possess certificates for drone repair & maintenance from qualifying institutions such as technical/vocational schools and other institutions.
In-depth knowledge of multirotor systems will be required to perform accurate & timely diagnostics of drones for estimates and repair. Technicians will be expected to be proficient at soldering. Experience at component level repair & micro-soldering would be a plus, but not required.
Technicians will be expected to possess, or obtain, a valid Part 107 license to test fly aircraft after repairs, and for other testing purposes as needed. Prior knowledge in flying multirotors (commercially available or homemade) would be required, ideally on a range of platforms & applications.
Basic Qualifications:
Mechanical and electrical repair or assembly experience Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs Demonstrate a proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations Familiar with common business applications and tools (. MS Office) Exceptional attention to detail and exemplary organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Prior hands-on experience with kit, model, or experimental sUAS builds A degree or certificate in unmanned systems or related studies from a post-secondary institution Part 107 license with > 25 hours of flight time Strong knowledge of 14 CFR Part 107 regulations, airspace, and the LAANC system. Experience with a variety of sUAS platforms and applications Experience repairing or modifying other types of lighting,photography and videography gear
