Home Health Aide

Pay Range

Days: $17.55 - $18.99

Evenings: $18.65 - $20.09

Nights: $19.05 – $20.49

All evening and night shifts include shift differentials.

The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.

·Heartsaver First Aide certified at hire or within 3 months of hire required. 

·Provide satisfactory evidence of all licenses and certifications required of Home Health Aides by governing laws and regulations. 

·Medication certification required.

·One year or more experience as a Home Health Aide preferable. 

·Works effectively, both independently and with others.

·Possess tact, discretion and diplomacy. Ability to work under stress and complete duties.

·Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co-workers.

·Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·Compliance with Universal Precautions.

·May need to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary.

·Successful completion of 12 hours of in-service education per year.

Minimum Education Requirement –

High school level of knowledge preferred.

Home Health Aide Certificate required.
