About the Position

As a Tax Specialist  at Forvis Mazars, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team in Montréal, contributing to our mission of providing top-notch services.

Your responsibilities

Review corporate income tax returns, ensuring accuracy, optimization, and compliance with tax regulations; Respond to inquiries from audit staff and discuss technical aspects encountered during engagements; Review individual income tax returns or assist preparers of these returns as a tax resource during the individual tax season; Conduct tax research; Draft reorganization memoranda in collaboration with managers, senior managers, or partners.

Your Skills and Experience

You might be a good fit if you have:

Graduate degree in taxation or a master's degree in taxation; Member of a relevant professional corporation (CPA) or the Quebec Bar; Have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a firm or equivalent in a company; Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written); Proficiency in appropriate software (Microsoft Office suite, Taxprep, CCH, Taxnet pro...); Attention to detail and diligence; Excellent prioritization and deadline management skills. Proficiency in French and English, to effectively interact with all our clients in Quebec and beyond.
