Amazon is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and collaborative Executive Assistant to support the Director, Hardware Development, and other Directors in Amazon Devices & Services Hardware organization.

This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests across global teams. The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the Directors supported and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining great flexibility and a sense of humor.

In this role, you understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. You possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture.

Key job responsibilities
* Manage multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel
* Manage expense report coordination and submission
* Process purchase orders
* Handle confidential information while maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives
* Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
* Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
* Act as a liaison for direct reports
* Document writing, editing, and readiness
* Manage team space, including moves and reconfiguration
* Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- High school or equivalent diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree
- Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time
