What You’ll Be Doing
Assure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents. Prepare reports, manage shipping schedules, and perform other administrative tasks. Assist in resolving any discrepancies. Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Lead or Supervisors. Answer/route all telephone calls in a polite manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up of goods. Prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight. Assist in training new associates. Assist in maintaining facility security. Other assignments as assigned.What You’ll Bring
Ability to operate office equipment. Must have at least one year experience in Transportation or Logistics industry High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience with SAP and JD Edwards preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and customer service skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Good understanding of LTL shipments, Bill of lading, and PO processing. Good record keeping and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.What You Will Get

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $20 – $22 . The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
