This role is based in our Washington, DC office, offering a hybrid-telework schedule, providing flexibility for our valued team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on case laws, regulations, and legal precedents to provide essential support to our attorneys in their legal proceedings.

  • Play a vital role in organizing and managing legal documents, encompassing filing, indexing, and retrieving case files.

  • Collaborate with attorneys to prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.

  • Maintain consistent and transparent communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and aiding in the collection of necessary information.

  • Be an integral part of the trial preparation process, which includes organizing exhibits, coordinating witness interviews, and managing the logistical aspects of trials.

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Contribute to the development of strategies to address regulatory issues.

  • Perform various administrative tasks, including calendar management, scheduling, and other activities that facilitate attorneys' workflow.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent paralegal certification.

  • Previous experience as a litigation or regulatory paralegal is highly preferred.

  • Strong research skills and proficiency in legal databases and research tools.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and legal software.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Knowledge of litigation and regulatory procedures is a valuable asset.
