Under the direction of the director/charge nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulates care plans based on the diagnoses and implements and evaluates the plan of care.
Eligibility :
- Current licensure in the state of Florida as a registered nurse.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an RN.
- Current BLS and ACLS. PALS certification as required by job description.
- Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills.
- This program is not available to current UF Health Central Florida (UFHCF) team members or former UFHCF team members (with the exception of those former RNs who were in a Division Resource Pool position when they terminated employment) who have been separated from UFCFH for less than six months.
UFHCF reserves the right to discontinue this program at any point with or without notice.
Education:
- Diploma/associate's degree
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Florida registered nurse license
- BLS
- ACLS
