Within the Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) investing group, we seek to develop a first-in-class digital advice platform across 401(k), IRA, and brokerage accounts, to provide individuals with custom tailored investment strategies to meet their retirement objectives.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Be part of a team, working closely with product development, methodology, sales, and other engineers Write high quality, well-tested, and scalable code Evaluate the short- and long-term implications of every implementation decision Grow professionally and learn from other accomplished software engineers through pair coding while helping your peers to do the same Collaborate on critical system architecture decisions Review and provide feedback on other developers’ code and design Evaluate modern technologies, prototype innovative approaches to problems and make the business case for change

REQUIREMENTS

3+ Software development experience in a professional setting, experience in financial services is a plus Familiarity with Java, or another object-oriented language Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms Excellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skills Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders, and working as part of a global team Proven communication and interpersonal ability Experience building client- and consumer-facing products is a plus, but far from required ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
