IT Asset Management Specialist


Onsite: Dallas, TX


12-Month Contract-to-Hire


Our client is seeking an IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist to manage the entire lifecycle of our corporate hardware and software assets. This includes overseeing acquisition, leasing, software licensing, payment, and retirement processes to optimize costs and solutions effectively.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Track all on-site assets, including shipments and spares, in our DCIM, to monitor the location, usage, and lifecycle of all assets
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets on-site
  • Lifecycle: oversee the maintenance, upgrades, disposal, and decommissioning process of all physical assets
  • Package and prepare outbound shipments, coordinating with delivery partners (such as Fedex) to ensure successful delivery
  • Project coordination with external on-site vendors, ensuring they meet deliverables, and handling escalations and communications with Operations team


Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in asset monitoring, tracking, analyzing, reporting, and preparing asset management progress and reports.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Desktop Ordering Center, desktop leasing, invoicing, and vendor management.
