YWCA Cass Clay is currently seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician to perform and manage all maintenance tasks for YWCA facilities. 

Job Duties:

Safety/Security
•Provide routine system checks and maintenance and repairs as needed at all YWCA Cass Clay locations in a timely manner.
•Maintain heating system, including operating boilers, checking thermostats at various times during the year.
•Maintain cooling systems including testing and cleaning of chiller and cooling tower.
•Provide minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
•Assist directors in managing facility related quotes and contracts.
•Oversee contracted rehab projects along with designated YWCA representative.
•Ensure all doors and locks throughout YWCA facilities function properly.
•Maintain record of all facility keys, having new ones made when necessary.
•Effectively plan and coordinate the purchase of materials, supplies, and equipment.
•Manage building and equipment maintenance schedule.
•Maintain sidewalks and other designated areas during winter months.
•Document processes and maintenance records.
•Ensure safe working environment in all aspects of maintenance and repair.

Other Duties
•Oversee automobile maintenance for agency vehicles.
•Lead YWCA's Safety Committee.
•Schedule requires flexibility. Schedule may include some 24-hour emergency calls.
•Must be willing to work in all weather conditions to perform maintenance duties.
•Prompt and reliable attendance required.
•Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•H.S. Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of maintenance experience required. Technical Associate degree preferred.
•HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and boiler knowledge.
•Meets all background check requirements.
•Valid driver's license and proof of insurance with an insurable driving record.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and blueprints.
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using a calculator.
•Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
•An understanding of, appreciation for, and support of the mission of the YWCA of Cass Clay, which is to eliminate racism and empower women.
