Faurecia Clean Mobility develops and produces solutions to drive Mobility and Industry towards zero emission. Our solutions for air quality, energy efficiency, acoustic performance and powertrain electrification address the needs of passenger cars and commercial vehicles manufacturers, industrial and high horsepower applications.

We need strong expertise and key competencies also displaying high energy and agility, so we are looking for a an Assistant Controller  for our Hydrogen Solutions team at our R&D center in  Farmington Hills, MI .

Main responsabilities :

The FHS Assistant Controller is responsible of the following activities :

Program Controlling R&D Controlling SG&A Controlling

▪ Program Controlling

- Ensure program controlling procedures and Golden Rules compliance

- Secure business plan and customer (offer & LOI) /supplier contractual offer consistency

- Support, under program manager authority, selected profitability improvement actions

- Highlight Program Cash status and provide recommandation to the management

- Provide and secure R&D controlling inputs

- Supporting costing team activities and secure business plan update processes in time

- Provide program financial communication towards core team, management and plants involved

- Transfer gradually business plan cost datas source to plants from Gate 2

- Support fully the Program Manager in all financial impacts investigations to help driving the program profitability towards target

▪ R&D Controlling

- Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with Group procedures and policies

- Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia Finance related procedures, and internal control basics

- Supporting R&D forecasting processes (strategic plan, budget, forecast, trend …) with region and Division

- Provide all necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis, R&D Site budgetary control, projects and programs monitoring

- Track and follow TEMPO ressources across the region (LTI management…)

- Supporting closing activities of R&D sites (R&D/WBS and accounting allocation)

▪ SG&A Controlling

- Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia Finance related procedures, and internal control basics

- Provide all necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis, SG&A Site budgetary control.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of professional experience mainly in a Finance related position Good accounting knowledge Database/ spreadsheet proficiency Excellent analytical sense Strong teamwork sense Strong communication skills Knowledge of SAP Knowledge of Faurecia Business Model
