Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative 
Contract Duration: 3 MonthsLocation: Cumming, GAWork Type: Onsite Description:As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring accurate blood specimen collection. You will play a vital role in our healthcare services by creating a welcoming and trustworthy environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, explain procedures clearly, and build trust.
  • Phlebotomy: Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, following established protocols.
  • Specimen Preparation: Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
  • Data Entry: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and questions promptly.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and other team members.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)  
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • At least 2 years of experience in a patient service center environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team  
  • Attention to detail and accuracy  
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Additional Requirements:
  • Must list home city on resume
  • Rate is based on years of direct phlebotomy experience
  • Must be available to work whenever scheduled and stay for the entire shift
  • Must have a reliable commute (within 20-25 minutes) to the worksite
  • Must be punctual and have minimal absenteeism or tardiness
