Job Overview

Pride Healthcare is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to support our medical facility in a Contract role with potential extension opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and store medical specimens according to established procedures.
  • Explain the blood drawing process to patients in a clear and courteous manner.
  • Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
  • Package specimens for transport and store them according to required temperature.
  • Demonstrate proper technique for blood draws using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
