As a Corporate Counsel on the Legal team, a typical day for you will include:

Perform legal matters as designated by your supervising attorney to support the brands, departments, and corporate locations of Neighborly.  Gain the legal experience, knowledge, and expertise to support Neighborly on a day-to-day basis, in various areas of the law to include, but not limited to franchise law, intellectual property law, contract law, employment law, litigation, arbitration, mediation, and so much more. Advise assigned brands on legal issues with an understanding of how to appropriately balance risk and their ability to pursue its business interests.  Develop strategy for managing and resolving franchise issues, litigation, and pre-litigation disputes.  Coordinate with outside counsel to represent the company’s best interest.

(Required qualifications)

Experience: License to practice law. Skills: Strong analytical skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Proactive, innovative, and creative problem solver. Works well independently and within team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Education: JD degree from an ABA accredited law school.  Schedule / in-office requirements: Monday – Friday, in office
