Undergrad Student Employee - Fitness Center

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Position : Student Employee
Department : Fitness Center
Classification :Part-time, Non-benefit eligible
Duties : Front Desk Agent
Front desk attendants will be responsible for being on time to shifts. Some shifts may involve opening
and closing duties. Student workers should present at the desk throughout the shift, and may be
responsible for cleaning the facility when needed.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a currently enrolled Benedictinestudent in good standing. Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularlyrequired to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk;use hands to touch, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This positionrequires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to20 pounds.
Use of computerscreen, phone and customer service.
May require bending,or sitting for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by thisjob include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The following ofcampus specific guidelines for pandemic protocols is required. Training : As a Universityemployee you are required to complete all University-specific and/or OSHArelated training to fulfill your job duties. Specific training will beconducted online or in person. Employees must complete all trainings requiredby Benedictine University. Location : Rice Center Hours: Weekdayshifts will be 3pm - 9pm and weekend will be12 to 4 on Saturday and 2-6 onSunday to begin the semester. Days/Times Preferred : Monday-Friday 3pm-9pm, Sat. 12pm-4pm, Sun 2pm-6pm Hiring Supervisor :Matt Saey
