Job Description

Scope

This is a regional role, directing activities and strategies within the assigned region.

Job Essentials

1. Lead a regional team, including internal caregivers and external relationship structures.

2. Consistent with system-wide strategies, define and execute real estate strategies for the region.

3. Manage and report on KPIs, goals, and other tools to track and report on the performance of real property assets.

4. Implement policies and procedures for real estate activities in the region.

5. Manage real estate transactions and agreements (, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, land use, development, condemnation, etc.) within the region.

6. Manage regional real estate budgets, financial approvals, and financial performance.

7. Monitor the assessment, tax, and tax-exemption of real property assets in the region.

8. Develop and manage strategic relationships within the region that are essential to executing real estate strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

Extensive experience in real estate transaction and portfolio management.

Experience leading a real estate team and managing external relationships and structures.

- and -

Experience ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to real estate and facilities.

- and -

Skilled communicator with a demonstrated ability to interface with senior leadership and community leaders. 

Preferred Qualifications

Post graduate degree. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.

- and -

At least 8 years of relevant experience.

- and -

Extensive knowledge of the real estate markets within the assigned region.

- and -

Experience ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to real estate and facilities in a healthcare setting, including Stark Laws, The Joint Commission, and Life Safety.

- and

A real estate broker license.

Physical Requirements:

Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.

- and -

Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.

- and -

See and read computer monitors and documents.

- and -

Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

- and -

Occasional travel required.
