JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Nittany Lions Read/Nittany Lions Count Federal Work-Study Program (NLR/NLC) is seeking applicants to join our program for the 3/4 Academic Year for placements supporting both Francis McClure and Twin Rivers United Elementary Schools.
NLR/NLC students assist and support the classroom teachers, engage directly with the children, and provide one-on-one and/or small-group instruction. The following positions are available:
Reading Academic Support - mornings (9-)/afternoons (-3) daily
Math Academic Support - mornings (9-)/afternoons (-3) daily
Healthy Lifestyle Development Assistants - midday (:-2) daily
A commitment of 6- hours per week is preferred. Hourly rates for NLR/NLC students for the 3/4 academic year is $/hour
All positions with NLR/NLC require the acquisition of the Three-Public Clearances for Employment.
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• FBI Criminal Background Check.
