Subject to Grant Funding?: Yes Essential Job Functions: 1. Manages assigned staff to include hiring, mentoring and training, conducting performance evaluations and any other employee related actions.
2. Designs and develops major program components, develops and maintains curricula, research, leads professional conferences and provides public relations support.
3. Develops ideas and options for faculty review and decision and develops and implements instruction and research topics.
4. Evaluates effectiveness of program meeting goals.
5. May teach seminars and workshops and participate with faculty on research.
6. Assists in developing research, may participate in professional conferences and provide public relations support.
7. Attends monthly meetings, technical assistance and monitoring sessions.
8. Participates in the grants budgeting and accounting process; ensures adherence to all federal, local and state guidelines related to expenditures.
9. Develops monthly and quarterly required reports.
10. Generates reports to ensure timely information is available for management use.
11. Manages Institutional Review Board (IRB) activities.
12. Coordinates and facilitates school-based nurses EOHSS training, monitoring, and screening schedules.
13. Coordinates procurement and distribution of program supplies. Maintains inventory of these supplies.
14. Liaisons with multi-internal and external partners to ensure the grant's mission and goals are being met.
15. Oversees and contributes to data entry, electronic health record (EHR) abstracts and assists with collecting and managing surveys to track trainee employment information.
16. Provides ongoing support and assistance to PI and other team members with complex travel arrangements and exhibit requirements both in and out of state.
17. Provides support to the statistic analyst with collections and outcomes assessment and project evaluation.
18. Coordinates student travel arrangements and reimbursements.
19. Travel off-site for trainings, meetings, technical assistance, monitoring, and events
20. Communicates with school-based nursing staff to coordinate schoolchildren screening schedules, and to coordinate and distribution, and receipt of parental informed consent forms, and that forms are complete, signed, and present for scheduled school-children’s screenings.
21. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Job Requirements: Required Certifications/Licensures: Required Education: Bachelor's degree Major (if required): Required Experience: Five (5) years’ experience managing grants to include performing and presenting research, mentoring students/residents, budgeting, and supervising staff.
