The Manufacturing Engineering Technical Manager will lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing activities are efficient, cost-effective, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, project management, and team leadership.

What You Will Do

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of manufacturing objectives with overall company goals. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Use Lean Manufacturing and CORE operating principles to drive process optimization. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methodologies. Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and regulations. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality control procedures. Monitor production metrics and quality data to identify areas for improvement. Work closely with NPI team, facilities, engineering and operations teams to ensure manufacturability of new products. Communicate effectively with senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience  U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:

Qualifications We Prefer

Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies. Proven project management skills, with experience managing multiple complex projects. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong leadership and team development abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing process simulation tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
