Primary Responsibilities
St. Michael's Prep is seeking an "as needed" bus driver to transport students to both local and out-of-town-events. This is a part-time non-exempt hourly position. Upon hire, the candidate will report to the Director of Auxiliary Programming.
Job Details:
- Drive students to both local and out-of-town events. These events include but are not limited to: athletic events, art competitions, retreats and academic field trips as needed.
- Routes will include trips to Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, as well as various locations in and around Austin. Local trips will be a minimum of four (4) hours.
- The driver's schedule will depend on the schedule of events but usually scheduled a minimum of two (2) weeks prior.
Required Experience, Degree, and Skills:
- Qualified candidates must have valid CDL class B with P endorsement.
- Candidates also must have at least one (1) verifiable year of experience operating a bus or comparable vehicle.
- Candidates must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes and be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug test.
