A reputable investment management firm in Boston is seeking a Portfolio Advisor.
Responsibilities:

· Present products and provide comprehensive portfolio analysis to client

· Identify inefficiencies and risks in client portfolios and provide advice for resolution

· Assist the sales teams in positioning their funds with clients

· Provide quantitative and qualitative competitor analysis and identify market and product trends

· Research new investment solutions & product ideas

· Prepare and deliver analysis and customized portfolio recommendations

· Develop and direct the use of various systems and analytical tools used by the team.

· Other ad hoc analyses and project work as requested

Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree or equivalent, CFA preferable

· 4+ years of asset management experience

· FINRA series 7 & 63 licenses required, or acquired within 90 days of hire

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
