If you are ready to work with a growing company on exciting projects at an industry leader than Kelly Services has an opportunity for you as a Safety Manager, in Boise, ID. Our client is looking for a qualified candidate who has experience implementing and overseeing the whole construction process, ensuring all safety regulations are met. 
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and start from scratch to maintain a safety program for onsite construction projects.   
  • Provide safety training to all personnel and make sure all accidents are reported and regular safety inspections are conducted. 
  • Work internally with other departments to ensure all safety procedures implemented are carried out in a professional, timely manner. 
Requirements and Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in OHS, Construction Management or any Engineering related field is preferred, but not required. 
  • Must have a construction background and prior leadership skills. 
  • Able to perform procedures according to written guidelines and recognize a deviation from accepted practice.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Able to write complex reports without supervision and develop new procedures where needed.
  • Able to clearly communicate problems and observations with management from other departments.
  • Proficient in creating and utilizing spreadsheets,
  • A passion for your work is a must
