We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Field to join our team in Berwick, PA. As a Project Engineer - Field, you will be responsible for assisting in the management, evaluation, and assessment of information necessary to construct the project safely, on time and within budget.
About the Role:The Project Engineer - Field assists the superintendent with project documentation, including daily reports, and ensures that all project files are up-to-date and accurate. You will also assist with document control, exhibit B verification, and quality control processes.
Responsibilities:- Assist with document control and Exhibit Bs
- Read and understand basic shop drawings and compare them to project documents. Verification of shop drawings to field conditions
- Assist in maintenance of project file
- Support the quality control and punch list process
- Assist with site logistics and Construction Management Plan
- Assist with establishing and maintaining vertical and horizontal control on the project
- Assist with safety requirements on the job
- Assist with the Baseline Schedule updates
- Assist Superintendent with project documentation including the Daily Report
Suffolk Construction offers a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
