Tax Manager
 
Daily Expectations
• Full responsibility for tax engagements (individual, partnership, corporation,
estate, gift and trust) as well as related accounting work; be able to manage
several jobs at a time as well as perform detail work, if necessary
• Responsible for research  
• Supervision of staff and assistants, including on the job training
 
Requirements
• Minimum 5-10 years experience (3-5 year at supervisor level) with a public
accounting firm (preferably with a local CPA firm rather than Big 4 or national
firm)
• Certified Public Accountant
• Minimum Bachelors degree in accounting
• Excellent communication skills-written and verbal
• Problem solver
• Team player/leader
• Willing to do detail work to get job done
 
Preferred Skills
• Client Development
• Strong accounting skills
• Experienced with tax preparation software

• Team environment where you can have input in the direction of firm
