A DAY IN THE LIFE

Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top of mind awareness in the Food and Beverage construction space Help develop and manage the execution of the Food and Beverage Manufacturing sales plan Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process including preliminary layout and design with ARCO’s marketing, estimator, project manager, and senior management team Design and manage construction of Food & Beverage Processing facilities from concept design to completion Analyze the flow of ingredients or raw materials into the building, thru storage, and into production while providing preliminary layouts and input on equipment type and product flow Assess equipment type and lead times as well as footprint in space and impact/ROI on utilities Have a broad knowledge and understanding of FDA, USDA, SQF, and other national reviews in order to eliminate contamination and create a sanitary product Partner with business development team as a subject matter expert, developing conceptual design facility layouts, and supporting proposal development for comprehensive design/build or EPC solutions Create and develop process flow diagrams, piping, and preliminary instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), facility layout, and equipment lists as necessary Understand the principles of design and identify potential risks associated with the construction of Food & Beverage Processing facilities Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities Research and analyze process solutions that may influence the layout, design, and construction of processing facilities. Attend trade shows and other association meetings to stay abreast of market trends, competition, and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects Create key strategic alliances and partnerships in the food and beverage manufacturing space to enhance our procurement strategies and create more options for our clients Provide ongoing progress updates on food manufacturing activities and industry trends, as well as other key indicators to the ARCO management team Develop new and innovative solutions to enhance production, focusing on improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency for process/manufacturing end users Establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations Travel as needed to projects, trade shows, etc.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.0 5-10 years' technical sales and facility design experience within the Food & Beverage Processing industry ISO, GMP, CP-FS, SQF certifications preferred  Experience in advanced/high-tech Food & Beverage Processing sectors highly preferred Broad and in-depth business background with a working knowledge of the technical aspects of Food & Beverage Processing design/build construction
