The Sr. Director, Division of Social Work serves as the clinical and administrative leader for social workers and related professionals in all UHSH and UHS Medical Group settings. This includes medical social work, inpatient behavioral health, outpatient behavioral health, primary/ specialty outpatient care, and palliative care.#LI-CR1
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Master’s degree in social work
10 years of Social Work experience, at least 5 of which must have been in a leadership capacity and 3 of which must have been in healthcare setting. Experience working and leading across multiple practice settings and locations is preferred.
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, strategic and innovative vision, proven motivational and change management capabilities, and a demonstrated track record of delivering results and achieving goals.

Valid NYS license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) at the time of hire or within 6 months of hire if moving from another state.
