HENDERSON, NEVADA | Nestled in the picturesque McCullough Mountains, high above the Las Vegas Valley floor, DragonRidge offers a private, Championship 18-hole, par 72 layout course that stretches to 6,975 yards, providing unparalleled views and an unforgettable golfing experience. Distinguished golf course architects Jay Morrish and David Druzisky designed an innovative way to use the natural hillsides and canyons, with a topography that allows our members to enjoy wide fairways, large greens, and over 60,000 square feet of practice facilities, including an all-grass driving range, teaching facility, short game area, and two bent grass putting greens. 

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional to assist in all areas of the Golf Operation. This includes but is not limited to member events, instruction programming, weekly games/events, merchandising, coaching/leading members of the Outside Service team, and servicing the membership to ensure an exceptional club experience.


Experience Required

2+ years’ experience in a private club setting is highly preferred.Class A PGA/LPGA Member or Associate in good standing is preferred.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Tournament Management: Experience coordinating and executing tournaments and events; Golf Genius proficiency preferred.Golf Instruction: Proven track record conducting individual and group golf lessons, with the ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate to players of all ages and skill levels.Playing Ability: Maintain a proficient playing ability, including a thorough understanding of rules and etiquette.Technology Proficiency: Expertise in Golf Genius Tournament Software, Microsoft Office, ForeTees, and Jonas preferred.Professionalism: Exemplary professional conduct and appearance, with a commitment to upholding the standards and values of the club.Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Customer Service Excellence: Strong interpersonal skills and a service-focused attitude, with the ability to provide an exceptional experience to members and their guests.Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, and other members of the golf staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist with managing all aspects of the daily golf operation.Provide excellent customer service, professional advice, and assistance to all members and their guests.Assist with managing Men's, Ladies', and Junior tournament operations including weekly leagues, events, and programs.Assist with the Golf Shop retail operation including purchasing, receipt, inventory control, promotion, and sales of merchandise.Provide private and group lessons and clinics that are consistent with agreed-upon instructional methods, policies, and procedures.Assist with the coordination of club fitting and repairs.This position requires availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings.Other duties as assigned.
